As I posted on the website, a group Hide's kick members took a trip to the beach, Onjuku Chiba. Our intention was to train at the beach, of course. Encountering its emerald green ocean, beautiful sand, gorgeous weather, we erased the word "training" from our minds the entire day. We set up our camp around 9 am, had to wait until 10 am when we were allowed to get in the water. Beautiful thing about being on the beach is, there's no time to waste. As we were waiting to get in the water, we decided to toast for a beautiful summer day with some beer. The water was cold, but pure and clear. Waves were strong, but perfect for our trained bodies (!). It's nice to start early on a beach, everything feels clean and fresh and the sand is not too hot. After enjoying some swimming and water dipping, most of us decided to chill out on the beach and get some sun. The average age of this group was rather high, (I was the youngest in the group!), so majority of the members started taking nap. One of them actually got too much sun when he was lying, and became really red on just one side of his body. Even when I suggested swimming to the shore as far as we could, only person agreed to come, and I had to pull him to as I swam. After the work out, we enjoyed a great ocean delicacy, Sazae, and other amazing food, of course with pint after pint of beer! At that moment, we realized we enjoyed everything that there were in Onjuku, perfect ending to the perfect day. Amazing ocean, greens, air, sky, and most of all, AMAZING Nakama (has broader meaning than the term friends), were the perfect recipe for one special summer day.
